That one is Adventures.
I'm more fond of that one myself.

He had a boner for chilidogs on both shows. That was the most random thing ever... why wasn't it something like pizza or fried chicken? But chilidogs?

Not more toys...I got all of the McDonalds ones from last year. That was a pain in the ass. I wish they would make more statuesque Nintendo toys. I do want that Mario, however.

Yeah, I wish they'd make toys like they used to. Remember that Yoshi from the N64 promotion at Taco Bell? That thing was awesome. And remember the Super Mario Bros. 3 toys from McDonalds back in the day? www.youtube.com/watch?v=QGOWGJ3HQxY

The good thing is that the new toys are at Wendy's, which is a much better fast food joint than McDonalds. I love me them Crispy Chicken Nuggets...

"I was the one who submitted this and I work at Wendy’s. Don’t expect these until about June. We just started a new promotion, and these start after that." I want them now.

<3 Wendy's 4-alarm burger or whatever it is. God, that thing is tasty.
Taco Bell toys! I remember those...they're partially why I'm addicted to Taco Bell now. I had the Mario Maze, DK tree, and I think the Mario Kart one.
I used to have the old Luigi cloud and Mario jumper from McDonalds, too. My favorite video game related kids meal toy was the Tails that spun in the air.

To this day, I can't think about Taco Bell without thinking about that Donkey Kong tree thing.
The Sonic toys were awesome. I never did get Tails, but I did get Sonic, Dr. Robotnik, and Knuckles. That Knuckles toy was bad ass. A few years later they put out toys of various characters they had in Happy Meals, and they had wheels and you could link them up and make a train. They made a TV with a Genesis on top. There was a sticker on the inside with pictures of Sonic, Tails, and Robotnik, and when you rolled it, the characters moved as if they were running... that was so cool.

Yeah, I don't think that's happening. There was some battle thing they were in for some land in Redmond and they won. That couldn't have been more than a year ago. Plus the company has major stock in the Mariners. I think they co-own the team.

I hope they stay right where they're at. It just seems wrong for them to move. I'd love to visit Redmond sometime... you and me could rent a tank and round up Reggie and Perrin and pull a DX on the Microsoft HQ.

We storm Lake Washington at dawn. Do you have a comic store nearby that's still open Alex? I just got back from one because it's free comic book day today and they had a free issue of the Sonic The Hedgehog comic

Yeah, there's one across town. To this day, I still get Sonic the Hedgehog comics. I've been getting them every month since 1995.

Yeah, according to the cover it's an all new story. I can never find new issues of it here. Even comic shops don't stock them

I had been getting them at grocery stores until 1999, when everyone just stopped carrying comics for some reason. I've had to special order them from the comic shop ever since. I don't know why I still get them, the quality has gone WAAAY down since about issue 100. I guess it's more of a habit then anything.

Nintendo really could make some good comics if they tried. Those little things in the Nintendo Powers were cute and all, but I've seen good Mario comics. Zelda could probably make a decent series if they made a dark series targeted to teens. I listen to this cassette tape still that is a read along for a Mario comic compilation I bought SEVERAL years ago. Princess Toadstool mumbles obscenities in it...

The Super Mario Adventures comics in Nintendo Power were absolutely fantastic, I have the collected book. That just put the games in a whole other dimension for me. I've thought for years that they should make an anime in the vein of those comics, I loved the way the characters interacted, the art, and the humor. The Zelda comics were awesome as well. Nintendo totally needs to do shit like that again.
