Well, chances are if someone likes Madden, they're also a Tecmo Bowl fan, so there's that.

You guys remember that game Sarurday Night Slam Masters? Turns out it's unbelievably hard to find a copy for the Genesis.

So, I decided to bust out the old Genesis and give her a whirl, for the first time in years. I'm actually a little weirded out since I've realized how little games I have for the thing. I went to GameCrazy to see what they have, and turns out they're selling their entire stock of Genesis games for $1.99 each. They gave me a print out of what they have, I'm gonna go back tomorrow and spend way more money than I should.

That is the single greatest guitar to ever be seen by the human eye.

I'm really bad about buying used games in bulk. Last year I bought like 300 NES games all at once at a pawn shop.

That guitar would look ever better if it used the silhouette S&K style. Freakin' sweet, regardless.

That Sonic & Knuckles logo is badass. 1995 was awesome.

That's one of those few games where it's almost impossible to beat without using a cheat.

I have the SNES Power Rangers game (as seen being shoved in a Jakks trashcan in my AVGN parody) but I never knew they made it for the Genesis, unless you mean the Power Rangers Movie game (which was awesome).
Aladdin and Lion King were pretty good, but again, I only played them on the SNES. I know the Sega Aladdin had a lot of differences, such as the white prince parade or whatever it was.

The SNES and Genesis Power Rangers games are completely different. The Genesis version is a Street Fighter II rip-off, while the SNES version is a beat 'em up. They're actually not that bad... though that's probably nostalgia talking for me.

I'm ashamed to say I've been playing Tale Spin for the Genesis for about two weeks, and it's kicking my ass.

I've only played the NES version. It was pretty difficult, from what I remember.

I pretty much bought it because I love the Disney Genesis games, and because it has the grid design on it.

As I was buying those Genesis games, the girl working there informed me that they were "fazing out" the SNES and the Genesis.

She probably thought that Nintendo and Sega were fazing out the systems in order to to prepare for their next gen systems, the Ultra and Dural.

Remember when news started coming out that Sega was making a "NEXT-GEN" system? I was so fucking excited after I read the gigantic Sonic Adventure preview in EGM. I don't think I had ever been more hyped for a video game in my life.

I have two as well. I don't know what the hell it is, but those things must have come in a two-4-one blister pack or something.
