The Venture Bros. is the single greatest cartoon in the history of cartoons. Seconded.

Damn, I'm going to have to watch it right now. Kevin Nealon is such a great asset to that show. I think my favorite Nealon part was when he fucked with the sewage line to Majestic and was dancing around. Hilarious stuff. I love youtube. youtube.com/watch?v=avjulLrKTdg&feature=relatedHaha...I loved that too. I'm really glad that Matthew Modine isn't on the show anymore, didn't care for him much. The funny thing about Nealon is that I absolutely hated him when he was on SNL and yet, he's my favorite part of Weeds. I already miss Albert Brooks. Everytime I saw him I kept waiting for him to break into a Mr. Scorpio tirade from The Simpsons. I kept thinking about Finding Nemo whenever he talked. I can see them bringing him back if Nancy doesn't pay him the money.

It was pretty cool, the last thing with the virals lead you to a site where you could get a free ticket to an IMAX screening of the Dark Knight if you theater was participating. Turns out, mine was and I got it in time. They only gave out 154 at my theater and I think they were all gone in a matter of minutes, pays to follow those viral hunts I suppose.
Sooooo Dark Knight on Tuesday for freeeeeeee

Yes, I also absolutely loved the first, and am pumped for tonight. And I just finished Arrested Development. How could they cancel this series?! I can hardly wait for the movie.

I want to see HB VERY badly, since I adored the first movie, but my movie plate is full. I still haven't seen Wall-E, I want to see HB, Dark Knight hits next week and I'll likely see that more than once, then the X-Files comes out....I don't have time for all this

And my brother backed out on me so I didn't get to see HB2 tonight which is really disappointing especially since it's getting such great reviews, 88% on Rotten Tomatoes.
I've come to the conclusion that I won't get to see Wall-E in theaters and I'm coming to grips with it. It's something I really really want to see on the big screen, but I've got no one to go with and I'm not seeing that movie alone or any movie for that matter.
Chase, I too am looking forward to the Arrested Development movie and they better get funding for it or I'm going to be pissed. It's easily one of the best shows on television and it's a shame it was forced to end so quickly. It had an excellent cast of characters and some of the best writers I've ever seen. The third season is definitely the weakest of the three, but it's still leaps and bounds above everything else on television these days. I think the biggest thing it had going against it was that it was on Fox and it was not a good fit for that channel. I think that had NBC of had it and aired it right after The Office it would have been a huge hit.

I have to say I'm almost done with the X-Files (first season that is) I like it for the most part but the only thing that kinda bugs me is how annoying Skully can be it's like why don't you listen to Mulder he was right the first 23 times about Aliens why don't you just believe him already and I kinda find there are a lot of stand alone episodes, I kinda like my shows to have a continuing story line but X-Files reminds me of some of the USA networks show where they don't touch on the plot at all which can be great in some cases but I find most of the time I'm just like kind of bored with the show when they don't for so long. I'll probably end up watching the rest of the series anyways though.

The funny thing about the show is how there is so very rarely any proof other than what Mulder sometimes stumbles upon that anyone can see. The mythology shows are great, but it's the Monster of the Week shows that usually end up being the best.

This is the random thoughts thread so, fuck it, I'm bored at work and therefore I am going to post some random TV and movie thoughts.
I went to the redbox today and there is literally NOTHING I want to even remotely see in there. It is fucking pathetic that there isn't even one movie I want to spend a dollar on seeing. Bucket List? Nah, Vantage Point? Pass, The Ruins? No thank you. Seriously, when is a GOOD movie going to be relased on dvd? I haven't bought a fucking dvd in months because there has been absolutely nothing worth renting or buying hitting the shelves. I would rather just go to Best Buy and buy 2-3 seasons of Batman the Animated Series for 17 bucks to watch at night.
Speaking of Batman TAS I watched an episode where the Scarecrow was poisoning all of Gotham's water supply with the fear gas toxin and was like..."Wait, didn't I see this in a movie once?". I had NO idea that Nolan just kind of watched the cartoon and went "Ding!" then added Ras Al Gaul and had the main plot for Begins. I thought it was pretty funny.
Law and Order is crack, I know I have mentioned this in a post before but I thought it needed to be reitterated here because I literally watch two hours of it every single afternoon before I go to work.
*Spoilers*
I just figure I will post some spoilers from The Dark Knight here and not in my official review that I posted earlier. It is a complete shame that Ledger had to go and die on us because fuck, I am POSITIVE that he was going to be the center of a third movie considering the fact that he lives and his last lines of the movie to Batman are "I think we are destined to keep fighting again and again, over and over". It was such a chilling scene. I especially believe this since Two-Face goes down like a punk after kidnapping Gordon's family and threatening to shoot Gordon's son in the dome before Batman tackles him down a hole in an old building thus killing him. The end is so perfect, Batman taking the rap for all of Two-Face's killings just so that the city of Gotham could still believe that Harvey never went bad and never succumbed to The Joker's twisted view of society that anyone could be turned into a criminal. It was sad watching Gordon destroy the bat signal so apprehensively with a single tear going down his face and it was kind of weird that Rachel Dawes goes down in literally a blaze seeing as she is blown to smitherines because Batman literally chose the city of Gotham over her which to me kind of shows that he really is The fuckin Batman.

I've started watching the "new" Spider-Man cartoon, The Spectacular Spider-Man, and I have to admit that it doesn't completely suck.

I just watched Tiny Toons last night, and it's even funnier than when I was a kid. Even the slightest visual gag (i.e. the WB shield chasing its \\` counterpart with a mallet) had me in stiches.

Tiny Toons holds up SO well. Babs is still my favorite character. I like how she's the early batshit wacky Bugs Bunny while Buster is the more contemporary, laid back Bugs we saw later on.

I've been on a Bruce Campbell kick the past few days and I can probably say that he is probably one of my favorite actors ever, I mean he's one of the few actors who is in movies that I can watch over and over and never get tired of them, the others being any combination of Simon Pegg and Nick Frost.

Most amazing things Campbell have been overlooked, but I love that he has such a huge cult following.
