Guys, I think I've been manned. When I reserved SSBB at Gamestop, the cashier said I could get 10% off if I bought the strategy guide with it. Little did I realize that it wouldn't decrease the total amount I will have to pay the day this game comes out. Oh noes, quite the opposite .

Why are you people still buying shit at Gamestop

Buying at Gamestop is fine, it's listening to the people that work there that's the problem.

Actually I bought KHII at Gamestop. Of course it wasn't shrink wrapped. It has a couple of scratches on it, and I'm supposed to expect that it's brand new? I don't know how they get away with that shit. Any other store would classify opened products as used.

I'm not bitching though, it was the only copy in town and it was $20. But still.

I actually enjoy Gamestop's and Game Crazy stores. I'm just tired of their sales tactics and practices. If grocery and department stores operated in the same manner, there'd be fucking riots the world over.

I've had nothing but bad experiences with Gamestop really. I only go there as a last resort. I like GameCrazy. I didn't when it first opened, everyone that worked there was a but since the new management took over it's been awesome.

I actually don't mind Game Crazy either. They usually leave you alone until you want to buy something. Plus they're one the few places that still sell 16 bit games.

Yeah I bought a bunch of Genesis games there for $2 a pop last summer. Their selection is dwindling all the time though.

I've only got one Game Crazy in town, and they never have good used shit unless you count all the NES games I already own as good. Instead, there is a record store next door that specializes in used games and DVDs, that's where I get my shit.

I raid pawn shops. There's this one run by Elton John and a cockatoo. I'm not making this shit up. I bought like 200 cartridges there once and when I brought them all up to the counter he was like, "you're gonna eBay these right?" and I was like "no I'm going to play them... I'm going to play them all" and after I paid him I walked out with my head down carrying like eight bags full of cartridges.

Yeah, Game Crazy is pretty much out of SNES and Genesis games, unless you want a copy of Death and Return of Superman.

Jesus Christ, the first witness's last name is "ORLY" and everyone constantly says "OH REALLY?" when she says anything of interest.

I bought GTA IV a few days back. Its fun, but I've never been huge into GTA. I mean, after about 2 hours I turned it off for some Mercury Meltdown.

Got a new phone and with it I bought the MSX version of Metal Gear and....A NEW BURGERTIME! It's a totally new game and as a bonus it has the original arcade version included. The only downer is you can only have SFX or music, not both. I always choose music. I just wish the LG Shine had a better joystick. That thing sucks.

I bought Metal Gear Acid. I'm pleasantly surprised, so far I'm liking this more than Portable Ops.

I bought Lego Indiana Jones, it is such a sweet game and the cut scenes are just cracking me up. I reccomend it to anyone who is a fan of the movie series or the lego games.

I was going to get LEGO Indy, but opted for Lost Planet: Colonies Edition, as I loved the demo. This should hold me over until Bad Company comes out.

Ok, I bought Metal Gear Solid 4... now it will probably take me another 4 days to open it, 4 days to actually try playing it, and god knows how many years to beat it.
Fact: it took me 18 months to beat Twilight Princess... I buzzed through up until Arbiters Grounds in like a week, and then let it rot on my shelf for a year+, and finally beat it a few weeks ago.

On the DS front, I purchased Lego Indy...followed by Mario Kart and Lego Star Wars. Indy is fantastic, but the cutscenes of Star Wars look like they cut corners whenever possible in the animation department.
Aaand I got the Family Guy game on Xbox. All I can say is that I'm glad I didn't purchase it for full price.

I love Lego Indy on the 360. I kinda hope to pick it up on the DS at some point. It doesn't look like it's all that bad of a game.
