I remember first seeing screens of Donkey Kong Country in Nintendo Power, and just being floored at how good it looked. But it was so different from the original Donkey Kong games. Nintendo should stop jacking off the Donkey Kong license and make a real sequel to Donkey Kong Junior. Or hell, even a proper Donkey Kong Country sequel would suffice at this point. A monkey climbing and swinging around in a jungle is just the most obvious setting for a huge 3D platformer. But no, we have to race go karts and bang on stupid plastic bongos all day. Way to go, Nintendo.

Meh another DK64 is what we'd get if they made a proper DK game King of swing sucked, just thought id say Yeah, all Donkey Kong games have been awful since Donkey Kong Country 3, although Jungle Beat was pretty fun, I'm not sure if I could count it as a real sequel or not. If Donkey Kong 64 hadn't been a full on collect-a-thon and just focused on platforming, it would've been awesome. I'm hoping Nintendo will get off their asses and make a real Donkey Kong game. Bring back Junior, and make him rescue his papa. I'd like to see a game focused on climbing trees and swinging on vines in a wide open lush jungle, on the scale of a Grand Theft Auto city, not just run around and collect x number of bananas.

Would he have his coconut gun, and fire in spurts we'll probably only ever see DK Jr as a trophy in smash bros or something

Did they put DK Jr. on Animal Crossing? Or was it the e-Reader....both?

I think Donkey Kong Jr. Math was in Animal Crossing. They ported Donkey Kong Jr. to that god awful eReader. I bought the cards. I know, I know, I'm a cum guzzling Nintendo whore.

Does anyone know the battery life of games like Super Tecmo Bowl and Maniac Mansion? I think I remember EGM saying it was like ten years, but obviously that's not right.

I think my Zelda battery is still going. Though Donkey Kong Country and Sonic 3's batteries went out years ago.

Hey, there's a certain charm in firing up the NES, and then doing the clickity clack push and shove thing with your cartridges, until you get a title screen that doesn't have fucking bars running through it.
