I got a new SNES controller today. It has chunks taken out of the start and select buttons, but I NEED IT TO LIVE.

My Donkey Kong Country battery died on me. First SNES game to do so, too. *holds Super Mario RPG* Hang in there, little guy. Everything's gonna be aaaaalright.

Great balls of fire! I have been playing Super Mario World since I was 5 or 6 and I didn't even know that. I knew about the secret world, but not that pipe trick. There have been places that I could never find how to get to. I am gonna try this right now. *dusts off SNES* EDIT: I've been had. I didn't watch the whole thing, or else I wouldn't have even got my hopes up. Son of a diddly.

I like how eveytime someone plays video games on sitcoms, it has the Pac-Man noise.

Yeah, I remember on Roseanne when Dan was playing Super Nintendo, he was talking like the game was really bloody and violent, but the sound effects were from Super Mario World.

I hate poor controller acting, like i was watching The Bernie Mac show once and he was playing the PS2 and all he was doing was spinning the analogs around

I hate how sitcoms and TV shows use the most mainstream game controllers at the time. I would make them use the most obscure controller I could possibly find, like a Channel F controller. It'd be funnier. And it makes me fucking sick whenever I see a kid playing a DS or a PSP in a TV show. Show some fucking respect for an old Tiger handheld or a Master Merlin.

Would I be considered a total douchebag if I stole a few SNES games (including Super Metroid and Super Mario All-Stars) from a friend who NEVER plays his SNES, and who's favorite video game is Blitz: The League?

My cousin loaned me some of his SNES games when we were little. He told me I could keep Cool Spot, then later wanted it back. I told him I gave it back to him, and he must've not remembered. Sue me, I let him borrow my Kissyfur tape and it came back broken.

How 'bout that episode of AOSTH when Robotnik is trying to use a computer and noises from Super Mario Bros. kept playing?

There are only two types of sound effects when it comes to video games in TV shows. Pac-Man and Mario.

At PAX, Pink Godzilla, a game retailer, had a sealed copy of Super Metroid for 300 bucks. Drool worthy there.
