I hope I'm wrong but I really honestly think it's over for the Wii. We're going into its fourth year, GameCube first-party had NOTHING after Double Dash came out in 2003. Hopefully they'll be able to shit out another Zelda for us but beyond that it looks really grim to me.

Reggie said there's another Mario and Zelda in the works. Speaking of which man is Super Mario 128 awesome or what?
I'm more interested in original IPs at this point in time. And of course a new 2D Metroid.

Yeah I can't wait for all those new IPs Nintendo has waiting for us upon the launch of the Wii!

For shits and giggles I bought the new Nintendo Power magazine because it had the Turtles on the cover. They do a whole 2009 preview. There is actually some nice looking stuff on the horizon. TMNT, however, does not appear to be one of those titles. The visuals are terrible.

It seems like after I bought Mario Kart Wii, I lost interest in any other titles. There hasn't been anything that grabbed my attention that I had to have. It's sad.

I've been playing De Blob, which is a fantastical title. And I finally got around to finishing up Wario Land Shake It which is a more than competent and beautiful looking traditional 2D platformer.

I think I'm getting De Blob for Christmas. I'm dying for something new to play, there is only so much I can do with the games I have. I went back to playing Tiger Woods, which is a great title, but I really want something new.

Dear Wii Owners,
Buy Deadly Creatures. If you don't, it's your fault that the Wii gets bullshit after bullshit after bullshit. Deadly Creatures is a god damn BRILLIANT third part game. Deserving to be played. Regardless of Billy Bob Thornton voice acting in it, it's got Dennis Hopper to even that out anyways.

So I got a chance to play Wii Punchout yesterday, and it was awesome. JJ told me it was faithful to the original, and he was right. Great Tiger kicked my shit in like 6 times.

It's Punch-Out. It's literally unchanged, just prettier. Just don't bother with motion controls, you'll start losing after Glass Joe.

They're still making games for that thing? Didn't Nintendo abandon video games and go into the dangling keys in front of infants industry?

I just beat the first round of guys in Punch Out. Now onto the title defense.
Tiger Mask was probably the toughest guy next to The Sandman and Macho Man Randy Savage. I got lucky with Sandman - can he even take any damage? I had to get the 3 knockdowns to defeat him.

You know what? The Conduit is rad. It's not perfect, but it's damn fun, and multiplayer is fun too. It really feels like this is what Perfect Dark would have turned into. Or what Perfect Dark 0 should have been.

I've been thinking about this. If Nintendo doesn't incorporate a way to transfer your virtual console library to the Wii's successor, I will never buy another Nintendo product ever again.
Quote me.

I bought the fucking machine. I bought four remotes, two nunchuks, four classic controllers, four additional Wavebirds, the Zapper and most of the first-party titles. I have spent well over $300 in virtual console/WiiWare games and probably another $300 in those stupid assorted color controller condoms.
Not supporting them? I've put Cammie's kids through fucking college.
