Does Iroquois Pliskin come back in 4? I know he isn't real, but I have a man crush on him.

Let's just say that Octocamo isn't limited to just your body. As shown in one of the trailers. And you can adjust his vest and stuff so in a way, yes, Pliskin is back!

The first time I played MGS2 my head actually fell off because of how confusing the whole Plant Chapter was to me. I didn't know if Pliskin was a new clone of Snake or what. I mean...he was missing the headband. I never knew Snake could take it off. --------------- It's common knowledge that you go back to Shadow Moses in this game but since some people might have not known that I'll keep it covered. (about that part and Kojima trickery - nothing after or before) I LOVE how they tricked us in the teaser trailer. It shows the PS3 build of the game in that, but when you actually play the game it's the PS1 version. No socom though. Snake wakes up and you get dropped off in Shadow Moses. It's a blizzard. Then you get the option to play with a PS1 Snake mask - really freakin' cool. They captured Shadow Moses so well. I had no idea it went as deep as it did. It's much more than just the heliport. You go inside. I went through the vents. Everything is very similar. Then you get to go passed the part where you fight Raven, which leads into the warhead room where you couldn't use weapons. Take the elevator back to Hal's old lab. Then into Sniper Wolf's field. Then into the second part of the game where you had to switch discs. Otacon makes a reference towards it. Again, they did such a good job with it. Not sure if anyone will get this given if they've explored the left side of the heliport , but R.I.P. surveillance camera.

Well I think I'm about done with MGS2 not game wise but patience's wise, I've just given about 2 or 3 hours to the game got to the part were I am going to the next shell, which I can't complete because I don't know what happens but when I'm playing a game, typically with sniping and have to shoot a very specific target and the gun moves and I can't do anything to make it still, I get this feeling where I want to break the controller or something and then of course when I hit continue I somehow hit the down button and then went to exit which pretty much just made me want to stop playing because I have to go all the way back to just after I fought Fatman. /endrant
Edit: Hooray for me doing everything again and getting past that part.

I cried.
I'm going to remember this series until the day I die.

I have to say, I am a little bit surprised Konami didn't milk the series more and have it end here.

Double trouble post
Well I finished Sons of Liberty, pretty good except for the almost no play time of Snake, Raiden towards the end of the game started to be not such a bad character like the time I liked him when you first the get sword from Snake and that just made him kinda awesome because I was the only weapon I used for pretty much the rest of the game which was only about 30 mins of play time 20 hours of cut scenes. The story was pretty awesome as well, got confusing at times but again towards the end and finding out more things of the Patriots it became interesting. I <3 the part where the Campbell started going crazy and kept calling which was annoying and hilarious and the Fission mailed part, where I almost thought I did something wrong until I noticed the box at the top where I kept playing. But yeah pretty great game overall.

All from memory.

He fucked me over once by turning the map into a video of a girl when I was first going to find Snake, so then a bunch of guards killed me. :-(

I never had that happen outside of the tunnel. That has to suck...the area is pretty hard if you get spotted. I usually run back to the torture chamber since they'll leave you alone if you pose on the table. While naked.
...
On another note you can keep calling "Colonel" after meeting up with Snake. He starts saying different stuff.

I had no idea that you could go back in the chamber, when I got caught I usually just let them kill me.
I started 4 today and really there are no other words than fucking amazing, I'm only just past the part where you meet Drebin but it is just amazing. I love the first part of the game with the game show which was amazing by itself.

Really out of all the people they could have brought back they brought Rose back, I really want to kill her after 2.
Edit: Raiden has turned into a fucking badass.

Raiden is one of the few people in the world that is both incredibly bad ass and a sniveling pussy at the same time.
I only get an hour or two a night to play it, I'm finally at Act 4 which is probably the most bad ass "level" in gaming ever.

I just started act 4, I wish I had dreams that looked exactly like PS1 games.
PS1 snake camo is the best camo next to big boss.

I just finished it as well, it seemed like there were about 50 endings but it did end amazingly and I was just shocked out of my mind. The only bad thing is I kinda broke my controller during the Snake - Liquid Ocelot fight so now whenever I press the PS button I can't go back or anything unless I plug it in to charge and unplug it. :-(

I nearly broke the damn triangle button during the Crawl of Champions. That was such a powerful part of the game.

My hand felt like it was broken after that, but I did fix my controller but just pushing the R2 button down really hard. :-)

I didn't break my controller, but yeah, by the end of the crawl...my hand was tired. My old track and field skills have eroded. I loved the final battle playing the music from the different games.

No, I haven't had a good chunk of time to set aside to playing it since my last update. Chances are tonight I'll blister through a good chunk of the remaining portions left. Maybe then I could get some good MGO gameplay in.
My old bluetooth got wrecked, and since I need one for work, I figured I could kill two birds with one stone. Get a new headset AND get one that's a piece of gaming memorabilia.

Personally, I do. I was UBER disappointed when I got my first phone call and it didn't do the Codec beeps. Luckily, it's my default ringtone on my phone
