Just a friendly reminder, Google Chrome, the Google web browser, has launched. It's supposed to be BLISTERING fast. 10x faster than Firefox. And it really does seem to be a much faster browser.

I'm too used to Firefox. If it's anything like the leap from Internet Explorer to Firefox, I might give it a whirl.

I heard about this at work and figure I'll give it a whirl. Personally I can't stand Firefox and am more than happy with Opera.

I've been using it this afternoon at work, it's actually kind of cool. The speed is noticeable, but the UI is kind of ugly and it seems to be similar to Firefox 3.0.

I actually like the UI, but dislike minor things, like lack of bookmark organization (alphabetizing, sorting) and a SplitBrowser.

I didn't like the look of the UI from the images on the download page and I hated it even more once I actually saw it in action on my PC. I didn't notice any sort of performance upgrade over Opera when I loaded PWInsider.com, I've never encountered a site that takes as long to load as that one, or the other ones I visited. I'll stick with Opera for the time being and revisit it after the next release.

I liked Firefox at first, but I just use IE 7.0 now. I prefer it actually.

I never understood people's fascination with Firefox. Personally I find it clunky, but I still think it's better than IE. I prefer to use Opera myself.

IE 7.0 is fine... I don't need a browser than can cook pancakes for me, and change my underwear...

I use Firefox after Alex convinced me that it was better than IE. I still have to use IE occasionally for sites likes channelsurfing.net though.
