My 14 year old nephew was at my house the other day, and he noticed my collection of Dreamcast games, and said, "Cool, you've got the old-school Sega games."
I wanted to beat him in the fucking face with a tire iron.

My Black-cast is the happiest purchase I've made in years. And the Dreamcast is still technically current gen

If I could've only had one of the current-gen consoles these last seven years, it'd be the Dreamcast. I would've missed Metal Gear Solid 3, Ninja Gaiden, and Wind Waker, but dammit if that Crazy Taxi just didn't have one jive soundtrack.
Seriously though, fuck the Offspring. Who's fucking idea was that?

I remember being excited for Crazy Taxi 2, playing it and saying "Why the fuck did I get the same exact game?"

Crazy Taxi 3 has that same fucking San Fransico level, along with crappy New York and Vegas levels.

Crazy Taxi was awesome, 2 sucked, 3 was fucking TERRIBLE. What was that game called where you can control a fish talking or some shit like that? They were always advertising the fuck outta that game, and I never got it. Was it any good?

Anyone ever play Armada? It was kinda cool. My friend at the time was the only one I knew with a Dreamcast, so every time I'd spend the night I'd start playing that game. He hated it with a passion and scolded me when I played it.
House of the Dead 2 was one of those games I could play over and over again (and you had to since the damn thing is so short).
There's this game that slips my mind that I really liked playing. It had to do with going around on the street and kicking the crap out of people. It might have been Powerstone, but I'm not sure that is it. There was something to do with pirates in it somewhere. You could pick up weapons and tables and shit. It was neat.

Sounds like Power Stone to me. That game is one of my all-time favorite fighters, and the last great beat-em up. I wish that genre would make a comeback and save us from all these crappy first-person shooters.

Maybe it was Power Stone. My memory is very fuzzy, but wasn't Powerstone a 1-on-1 fighter? The story mode I'm talking about had a bunch of bad guys and a classic kind of progression (area to area).

Sega had a good thing with Dreamcast, but the lack of EA and spending eleventy billion dollars to make Shenmue wounded them bad. And Sonic Adventure 2 didn't help either

Eh, the Dreamcast was already dead long before Sonic Adventure 2. Sega did it to themselves.
