Does anyone still go to Circuit City? All of the ones in my area happen to be the ones that are closing, doesn't effect me that much because I never go there, but still.

I used to, back when they had knowledgeable sales people. Nowadays they are just as bad as Best Buy.

I have found the people who work in Best Buy's tv department to be pretty knowledgeable about the product, then again, I only ask questions to them as a last resort.
I like the places where the employees don't give a shit, that way they won't talk to me when I am trying to look around.

I can never find anything in that God Damn store, everything seems to be in some sort of simply theoretical order. I was looking for some Presidents of the USA the other day, and saw in this order, Plain White T's, Primus, Pink Floyd, Queensryche. What the fuck is that? I think the stocker gave up on life YEARS ago.

I agree JJ, I can't EVER find anything in Circuit City. One time I literally wondered around for 20 minutes just trying to find the video game SECTION. I found Guitar Hero, but I couldn't find regular games...it was infuriating.

Circuit City is ok, and just ok for computer related products... when it comes to other electronics, they are completely inept. Especially video games, dvds, and music... Their selection stinks, it is usually a mess, the employees don't know dick. This is why I didn't care when I heard Chinese Democracy was a Best Buy exclusive... because I was going to buy it there anyway.

My local CC has an aisle of NOTHING but instrument games. Both sides of the aisle. Just guitars, drums, and microphones and far as the eye can see. It's disgusting, even for me, and I love the games.

Their video game, and music section is pretty much an afterthought... they actually have a nice computer selection at my local CC, and have a lot of digicams, printers, etc... but if I just go in there looking for something simple like a CD, i'm not going to find it. Best Buy is a more organized store... I've honestly never had any problems shopping at best buy. I don't know why some people trash them so much.

The computer I'm using right now I got for an excellent price at CC. Best Buy is my personal favorite store. I feel like if I really want something, I'm not gonna have much of a problem finding it there. I would have bought this PC I'm on right now at Best Buy if it were in stock, but it wasn't.

I brother used to work at CC and used to steal all the display model printer ink cartridges and shit... it was awesome.

Circuit City would actually legitimately brain wash their employees, they'd pound information into your head from Monster cable, or back in the day DIVX and make you watch video after video. Mike from Penny Arcade talked about it one time when, he legitimately thought DIVX was an amazing format.
