It'll be interesting, because it'll show if the revitalized stage show is going to be worth it or not.

He looked miserable at the Spike TV thing a few years ago, I really hope this isn't a repeat of that. He looked... well, fat. If he wears a suit that actually fits him and less makeup this time, I think he'll be fine. The man is pushing 60 though, he should've made his comeback 10 years ago.

Shut up already Jay and bring out Herman. Edt: Fit and trim PW returns! But I never realized how big his ears are.

Note to NBC: Fire Jay Leno and give Pee-wee his timeslot.
He has not aged a day since Playhouse. Screw Depp taking his place, Paul's still got it. I must now go watch Pee-wee's Big Adventure for the 8 millionth time.

The audience sucked. Yeah that kind of worries me. I assume most of them were college-aged, which was Playhouse's primary demographic back in the day. Seeing as how Playhouse repeats failed miserably on Adult Swim in '06, I assume that kids today just don't get it. Apparently though they had to move the upcoming stage show to a bigger venue because they sold more tickets than expected, which is good. Really all I want is a new film or two, and there are plenty of 30-somethings with kids willing to buy a movie ticket. Hopefully the new show will be a warm-up show for something bigger. Oh, and who stole the cookie from the cookie jar?

I recorded it with my shit DVD-R/VCR combo that likes to stop functioning at the most inopportune times, but I got it.
The five year-old in me feels... complete, in some sad pathetic way. It's an absolute fucking shame the way that show was pulled off the air. I mean it had already completed its run anyway, he was done with it and kids wouldn't have even heard about it if the media hadn't rammed it into the ground.
And he didn't even have his thing out for crying out loud, that is an absolute fabrication by the Sarasota police. No, I was not there but his lawyers had a video tape which apparently cleared him of any wankery.

I like the fact that everyone has pretty much "forgiven" him of the whole thing and has demanding him back as Pee-wee for years now.

It's still gonna be a hurdle for him though, especially now thanks to his bullshit 2002 arrest. Had it not been for that we would've probably seen a new movie years ago.

Apparently the original PWBA script could have a movie deal soon, and it would be "90 minutes of incredible beauty." If I remember from the DVD audio commentary, I think it was originally going to be a remake of Pollyanna.

Pee-wee is gonna be on the Biography channel tonight. Coincidence?
You know I love the character and all but I hope we're not gonna be oversaturated with it. I'm also really hoping he doesn't overdo it with pop culture references; I don't want Pee-wee turning into Family Guy.

Only if he answers a few questions for me:
1. WHERE in the hell is Puppetland and
2. DID YOU or DID YOU NOT keep the season one cast chained up in the playhouse basement, and if so, were they freed after your arrest?
