Well...I went big today, trotted my ass down to Helzberg Diamonds and bought this... The pictures do NOT do this thing justice, it is a truly beautiful ring, and I am proud to say that I picked it out all on my own. My girlfriend and I haven't even been "ring shopping" yet. I guess it is their exclusive "Radiant Star" diamond cut, and it really shows, and it really should since it was around 3000 dollars haha. I plan on proposing on December 3rd, when we go out on the town and see Wicked at the Kansas City Music Hall but I plan on carrying the ring on me when we go out JUST encase the moment strikes. After I bought it today, I already went and talked to her Dad and he was overjoyed and told me that he had just been talking about how he would have no problems with me as a son in law, which makes me very happy. Overall, I am REALLY happy right now and I just wanted to share it all with you guys!

Dead man walkin'.
After seeing Wicked sounds like a good time to do it, but if I were you, I'd do it during the upcoming KISS concert so Gene can give you a two-hour-long lecture of why marriage is a sham onstage.

Looks like me and Alex are ACTUALLY going to have to get married now, since every one of you motherfuckers seem to be dropping off like flies into the world of married "bliss."

Seriously man, congrats in advance. Trust me, you'll be tempted to ask her before then. But it's really comforting after she accepts, because you know you have someone to spend the rest of your life with.

Thanks for all the well wishes guys! You don't know how much they mean to me. I am really really excited, Brooke is definitely the one for me.
You win Rem...I can't beat the Tombstone tux...crap.
Also Nick, you're right, I am already tempted to propose before my set date to the point where whenever we go out, I just take it with me. You never know when that perfect opportunity will sneak up on you.

I may show up to either yours or Nicks wedding wearing either the Beetlejuice gaudy red tux or black dress pants, black dress shoes, a nicely pressed dress shirt with my neck tie with my Naruto jacket on.

Bolo tie, make it happen. But yeah Steve, I was gonna ask next week, but I couldn't wait to ask my girlfriend, so for sure keep the ring handy.

I could totally make a bolo tie happen. I may even wear my fedora for the extra classy.
