Oh SHIT. That's turbotastic! I've gotta fess up, I've always used the Turbografx as a punchline. I never took it seriously until I played some stuff via emoolation. Why that system never got the recognition it deserved is beyond me.

It works great too. Tricky Kick is a weird game that I don't really understand. It's a puzzle game where you kick animals and robots....

The same usual record store I hang out in quite a bit.

This reminds me, a few years ago, some kid that hung around my neighbor's house all the time bought a fucking Saturn, I think for like $5 at a yard sale, along with a couple of games. I tried my fucking hardest to buy it off him, but he was pretty much being an asshole about it. Keep in mind this kid was like 12 years old, a Rockstar/EA fanboy, he had NO idea what a gem he bought.

I was driving around today trying to find a top loader NES, I found one, but it was a 135 bucks, so I passed. I went there because he sometimes gets them in, and decided to try to get him to cut me a deal on the TG16. He had it marked for a hundred bucks, I got it for 60.

I still kick myself for not picking up a Dreamcast when places like EB and Gamestop were selling them for like 70 bucks.

Man, my nigger Dreamcast, plus 4 controllers, 4 memory cards and like, 20 games for 40 bucks is one of my most satisfying swap meet purchases EVER.

I bought a Dreamcast at launch. It was probably the best gaming purchase I've ever made. No other system blew me away the way the Dreamcast did.
To this day, the Dreamcast and the SNES are my favorite systems.

A couple weeks ago, I bought Marvel Vs. Capcom for the Dreamcast. That's really what that system needed to truly be, a home arcade machine. It would have had a permanent shelf life damn near if they just ported over countless arcade titles, because they were PERFECT on that damn system.

I completely lucked out on a shit ton of Dreamcast games at a pawn shop a few years ago for $2 a piece. A couple were sealed! I got Marvel vs. Capcom, House of the Dead 2, Virtua Fighter 3, Power Stone, and a few more. The box the games were in said $2, and as I was paying, they tried to weasel their way out of that and say it was a mistake, and charge me the "actual" price of $15. You're not going to pull that bull crap on me.

I'm so happy with this purchase, because I'm finally next-gen. I know this, because NEC told me so:

Sad thing is, an 18 year-old Turbografx is probably more reliable than a brand new Xbox 360.

I still have my T16 with the box. Hell, it's still mint. I always loved World CLass Baseball for it.
