Inspired by Alex's worst NES game thread . . . Not only the worst 2600 game I ever played, but quite possibly the worst arcade-to-console "conversion" I ever played as well. Sure, the 2600 was not the strongest console of that era, but couldn't Atari/Namco/whoever made this disgraceful "port" have tried a little harder? Couldn't they have tried to make the controls a little more responsive? Couldn't they have tried to replicate the classic Pac-Man medley instead of replacing it with some unsettling music more suited for the 2600 version of Alien? Couldn't they have tried to make Pac-Man look like a half-eaten pizza when he was gobbling pills instead of making him look like a muppet!? I feel sorry for those who had to settle for this bastardization because they couldn't be bothered to go to the local arcade. In closing. . . This is faithful. This is unfaithful. . . . Fortunately, Atari learned their lesson when it came time to "port" Ms. Pac-Man.

At least Custer's Revenge was halfway playable.

I could have sworn I posted in this....anyway....
I actually liked E.T.
Granted I was in third grade, and in the middle of the E.T. hype at the time, but I had fun with it. In retrospect, it blew though.
I have to definitely concur with Pac-Man. It was the first game I ever bought, and went home and was like, WTF?
Also, I played a LOT of bootleg Atari 2600 games, and they were all terrible.

Besides the obvious, it might've been Basketball. I couldn't figure out what the hell to do on that game.
