clickNintendo needs to stop acting like all non-gamers are stupid. They would've gotten more mainstream appeal for the Wii had they packed in a Super Mario Galaxy/Wii Play combo. They're underestimating their main franchises, and most importantly, potential customers.

I think Nintendo had brain damage from the years 2001 - 2006. They are slowly getting it back, but sometimes they still fuck up.

Nintendo had brain damage back in 1995 when they decided to stick with cartridges. That was where they fucked up.

I love how people (usually kids) think Nintendo was all fine and dandy during the 90s. They were anything but. Sure, Mario 64, Ocarina, and Pokeymans were huge hits, but the company just about spun out of control. We all know what happened to Sega.

Banjo, Mario 64, Ocarina, Conker, 007, Perfect Dark, Wave Race, and SSM. Some very good games. But you are right, fuck Pokeymans. They were only good for GameBoy. When I think of Nintendo I think of my NES, SNES, and 64. Not GameCube, unfortunately.

The N64 had some amazing games, but look at the NES and SNES libraries. If you were hardcore into gaming during the N64 days, you eventually had to pick up a PlayStation or *giggles* a Saturn because Nintendo releases were way too few and far apart. Let's face it, your generation got the shaft. And I'll defend Pokeymans. Had it not been for that, Nintendo wouldn't have a fucking Scrooge McDuck money bin that's arguably keeping them alive today. They would've easily gone the way of Sega if not for Pokeymans. I also don't feel bad for anyone that had a GameCube last gen. Take your pick, 500 crappy first-person shooter ports or Super Smash Bros. Melee and Wind Waker?

I loved the '90s. Use Your Illusion, PlayStation, Friends, and Bill Clinton. Greatness.
