Seriously, how the hell can they top Galaxy? Can it be done? I'd like to see a Super Mario Galaxy 2 and 3 on the Wii, dammit Nintendo stop this 1 Mario per system bullshit. I'd like to see them bring back Yoshi. Imagine throwing eggs with the Wii remote! Also, bring back the Koopa Kids. And power-ups. The fire flower shouldn't be a timed power-up like it was in Galaxy. God it still pisses me off. Bring back the tanooki suit. Seriously I mean it this time Nintendo don't make me get the belt.

Miyamoto has a brain no one can figure out. We could sit here and speculate, but we'll just come off looking like assholes to his genius.

They can not possibly top Galaxy. The gravity thing is probably the single most innovative feature in a 3D game ever. How can they implement that into future games without it coming off as recycled? Just end the series on a high point, Nintendo. Take Mario out back and shoot him.

Yeah, I honestly do wonder what else they could do with Mario. I'd like to see a 3D remake of Super Mario World more than anything. Innovation is great and all but there's no harm in going with a standard once in awhile.

They wouldn't even have to directly remake it, just heavily borrow from its style and do something with it in 3D. I miss the backdrops in Super Mario World, what with the Donut Plains and such. And the cape would look so unbelievably rad in 3D.

The next game needs be expansive and covers all sorts of terrain. Old school style Mushroom Kingdom, Super Mario 3 Kingdoms, Subcon, the Dinosaur Kingdom of Mario World, the paintings of the castle stages, some space stages. Hell, throw in some Gamboy stages. Have it cover everywhere Mario has been in order to stop Bowser once and for all.

Sorry to go off topic, but I wish they'd do a similar thing with the Sonic games. It would be awesome to go back to South Island, Westside Island, and Angel Island.

Yeah I was I thinking about this as well. Where exactly can the next Mario game take place at? Just looking at the past, putting it in space again just doesn't seem like something Nintendo will do. Which is only going to take away from the next game because the gravity is so incredibly cool that it's going to be missed. I know Nintendo can make another great Mario game, but it might be that we never see anything quite as good as Mario Galaxy, unless the possibility of if and when another Mario Galaxy game comes out.
