About fricking time. I'd like to play a decent wrestling game, since there hasn't been one since No Mercy.

Oh, shit! I'm already listing guys I'm going to make edits of.
- Mitsuharu Misawa - Davey Richards - Toshiaki Kawada - Kenta Kobashi - Naomichi Marufuji - Nigel McGuinness - Bryan Danielson - Taiji Ishimori - Akira Taue - Jun Akiyama - Low Ki - Chuck Taylor - Alex Shelley - Vader - Stan Hansen - Takeshi Morishima - Yoshihiro Takayama - Drake Younger - Chris Hero - Claudio Castagnoli - "Dr. Death" Steve Williams - Yoshinari Ogawa - Genki Horiguchi - Masato Yoshino - Dragon Kid - Terry Gordy - Chris Bosh - Scott Lost - Super Dragon - B-Boy - Homicide - Rocky Romero - Go Shiosaki - Mushiking Terry - Yoshinobu Kanemaru - Mike Awesome - Masato Tanaka - Matt Sydal - Austin Aries - Roderick Strong - Jay Briscoe - Mark Briscoe - Josh Abercrombie
Basically, lots of the AJPW, NOAH rosters, a few other puroresu guys and a bunch of indy wrestlers. There's like, so many. Isn't there like, 500 edit spaces?
EDIT: Apparently, I won't have to make edits of most of these guys. I was just informed that most of the AJPW/NOAH/NJPW/ROH rosters will be in, along with some of the TNA guys renamed. But you can always change the names.

I haven't bought a wrestling game since Smackdown 4. I might actually get this.

I haven't bought a wrestling game since Smackdown 4. I might actually get this. Yeah, man. If you're a fan of puroresu and indy stuff, you definitely need to pick this up. There are 327 wrestlers already in the game. I heard it's mostly going to be 90s AJPW and current NOAH. Then you have 500 edit slots, which gives you a total of 827 wrestlers in the game. It's amazing. Also, it's very puroresu based. It takes like four finishers to put your opponent away. If you've seen a lot of puro, you know what I mean. But Kenta Kobashi's Burning Hammer equals an automatic win. No one kicks out of that move. He only does it in high profile matches. I can recall his first Burning Hammer to Mitsuharu Misawa in October 1998. He also used the Burning Hammer against Jun Akiyama in 2004. I can't remember the other matches where he brought it out.

GAH! I love the Fire Pro games, but no way I'm getting a PS 2 just to play it.

You should get a PS2 anyway. You could probably get one pretty cheap by now. If you're not into the newer stuff, it's worth it just for the Atari and Midway compilations.

Eh, I guess, but honestly if I'm going to buy another console, it'll probably be the Wii.

You should probaby switch ISPs before then, though.

Yeah, I'm looking into At&T DSL right now. Don't know if I need a network card though.

Or hey, I'm open to any recommendations you guys might have for a new ISP.

I think I'm gonna switch to DSL, too. My internet goes out about once every other day, and they're charging out the ass.

Yeah, I'm paying a lot for mine too, and every once in awhile Brighthouse feels the need to jackup the price.

My cable internet service is only about 30 bucks a month, and there hasn't been a rate hike in the few fews I've had them. The good thing is though that the city set up their own cable company to force the then AT&T cable to drop their stuff down and to force them to add more channels since we weren't even getting the Cartoon Network with them, the fuckers.

Possible confirmed wrestlers. And boy... it's looking great.
- Kelvin Spleen (Kevin Steen) - Marcel McBeth (Nigel McGuinness) - Roddy Powers (Roderick Strong) - Suisse Castagnette (Claudio Castagnoli) - Mark Tidal (Matt Sydal) - Ingenious (Delirious)
Some of these names look real funny though.

Haha, it does. They picked some weird names. I actually unscrambled these myself. So one of them might be wrong. But for the most part, they look right. Does everyone else think those names belong to the proper wrestlers?

Then you are network ready, you aren't going to have to buy a network card. AT&T can hook you up right quick.

I recognize Roderick Strong. He's a ROH guy, and spent some time in TNA.

In my old age, i rarely watch anything other than wwe. If it's not on tv, i don't bother. ANd with TNA, every time I try to watch it, it's so terrible I can't stand it.

Some of these names look real funny though. Kevin Steen is a main eventer in PWG. He's appeared in like two TPI's. Nigel McGuinness is one of the biggest names in ROH, who has had constant excellent matches against Bryan Danielson. Roderick Strong is another big name in ROH, who also worked for TNA and teamed with Alex Shelley and Austin Aries. Claudio Castagnoli is 1/2 of the Kings of Wrestling with Chris Hero, now 1/8 of Kings of Wrestling in Chikara with Chris Hero, Gran Akuma, Icarus, Chuck Taylor, Larry Sweeney, Mitch Ryder and May Boyer. Matt Sydal is a guy that WWE has been interested in as of late. He is the winner of IWA MS TPI 2005, defeating Kevin Steen in the finals. Delirious is a big name in both ROH and IWA MS. Eh, I guess it would be better if I gave you pics. Jesus. I wish he made it in somehow. He's so fun to watch.

Well, I FINALLY found this game today. It was at K-Mart for 15 bucks and totally fucking worth it. I already downloaded and am playing a WCW 1998 edit pack. I LOVE this game. Best wrestling game in the US in years.
