Jet Skiing is stupid. Like, REALLY stupid. It's like "Hey, lets make Wave Race, but with lame ass controls and not call it Wave Race"

You can't ban me. You don't have the POWAH! Plus it's getting rave reviews, so you not liking it means you're out of touch with games and should probably kill yourself.

I bought it too, I haven't popped it in yet but I'm sure it's really fun.

You gotta figure the Wii Motion + device is $20 by itself, so you're essentially buying a discount game for $30. The original Wii Sports spent enough time in my Wii to justify a "bargain bin" price tag like $30, and this one has a bunch more stuff. And all my friends are more "casual" gamers so it's hard to find games we can all play together.
I'm hoping they really support Motion+ in the future because it truly does make a difference. Nintendo should just make a controller set that includes the Wii remote, nunchuk and the Motion+ and sell it for like $60.

I got Sonic Gems Collection today for $5. If you guys have a Movie Gallery by you we just put all our preplayed games (which includes 360/Wii/PS3) under $30 on sale for only $5 bucks. Selection varies but my store had some good stuff like MLB Power Pros, Super Swing Golf, Sonic Mega Collection, Silent Hill 2, and a few others that slip my mind.

I think Movie Gallery and Hollywood Video must be the same thing, since they're doing the same exact thing. I got anything I considered worth a damn there. Yakuza, Fatal Fury, and Condemned.

Movie Gallery owns Hollywood Video so we usually have the same deals going on, such as the PowerPlay program and whatnot. I'm debating on Silent Hill 2 since I lost mine. My friend got MLB Power Pros for Wii, and that game was pretty fun for a simplistic baseball game.

Well, I finally dove in and bought a xbox 360 elite for 300 bucks at Target today since I also got a free controller in the deal and since they just marked down their existing elite units I also got the HDMI cables in the package. I also grabbed Batman, which is pretty fuckin sweet so far, great story.
All in all, I'm very happy with my purchase, now I just need to upgrade to xbox live gold and I will be made in the shade. I have a question though, what is the best thing to do for internet access to the machine? I have wireless in my house so do I just need an adapter or should I buy a cable?

If it's logistically possible to use an ethernet cable from your Xbox to your modem or can just buy a really cheap non-wireless router, that's your best bet. If not, the 100 dollar Xbox wireless adapter is always there.

I'll probably go the really cheap wireless router route, seeing as I bet it works just the same as the Xbox one for a lot less dough.

The Xbox isn't wireless though. You need that 100 dollar adapter so it can receive the WiFi signal and there is no other third party option available. The router just makes your internet signal wireless, the adapter receives the data.

I went the ethernet cable route because it came with the Xbox....but thats only good if all your shit is in the same spot.

To be perfectly honest, it's the best way to go. The fewer things you can have go wrong, the better.

I'm going to go the ethernet cable route, everything is in the same spot in my basement and my wireless box is like 20 feet from my Xbox.

I actually don't hate the guitar note charts like I thought I would. I haven't played guitar in a long time, it was too late for drums, and I enjoyed the songs. Sultans of Swing was pretty much the reason I bought the game and even though I can't finish it on Expert it's freaking awesome.

All The Pretty Faces.
There's something hilarious about watching the videos of Kurt Cobain in the game. Him dancing around singing "You Give Love A Bad Name" is HILARIOUS.

I kinda sort of wish I still had my copy of WT, just so I could pay the money to transfer over the songs from the game, because I REALLY want to play Stranglehold again.

Sadly that promotion is not available in Canada, but I do get a sweet Guitar Hero sticker sheet. YEAH! Honestly though it's the only way I would end up getting GH:VH.
Edit: Upon further investigation I do have a code and am curious as to whether or not it would work if I just had it shipped to an American address. Hmmm.

Yeah I absolutely love it. I didn't get to play it a whole lot because it's getting late and I'm a drummer, but from what I saw it's pretty breathtaking. I actually even busted out the guitar so I could play "Here Comes the Sun" and "While My Guitar Gently Weeps".

I wonder if they'll ever be able to get Led Zeppelin on board for a game? That would be cool.
