Hurray for a costume quest add-on.

If you ever see that a classic dev has been bought out by somebody, automatically assume that whatever digital content they put on Live is as good as dead soon. I had no idea they'd been bought out. I'm just glad I got Ultimate MK3. I wish I'd gotten a few of the other games when I had the chance (mostly Smash TV), but I have the PS2 Midway compilations somewhere.

There is a MK HD Kollection hitting this year supposedly.

It'd better include Mortal Kombat Gold.

I'm pretty sure it's just recasted translations of the arcade games.

I find it to be a god damn crime to delist Defender, Robotron and Root Beer Tapper. Those games are god damn classics and they deserve to be readily available in some current, legal capacity.

I wonder if the TMNT games are in danger of this too, with the Nickelodeon buyout and everything. The NES game can go to hell for all I care though.

Something would have happened by now. It's been a while since that happened. I'm sure once the contract is up with Ubi, THQ is going to be making TMNT 3D collectathon platformers.

I totally took advantage of the sale. Got Monkey Island 2, Trials HD, Portal, Magic the Gathering (I've missed it every other time it was on sale), Madden Arcade, Zombie Apocalypse, the CCR track pack, and I got Greed Corp because it was so damn cheap. Budget gaming is awesome.
Anyone that didn't get Turtles in Time on Friday is a moron.

I've been on this weird Atari kick lately, which brings me to the question... Game Room. Should I open that can of worms? Or is it something I should just avoid altogether?

It's not like you can't get all that stuff somewhere else for just as cheap, but it's convenient and has a cute aesthetic. It wouldn't kill anything if you did. Apparently Gameroom Pack 012 has Sunset Riders and Blades of Steel, which is RAD AS HELL.

I have the Atari and Intellivision collections on the PS2. I *hate* playing those games with modern controllers. I've been trying to track down a 2600 but they are impossible to find even in the pawn shops these days. If they released an Atari joystick/Intellivision controller specifically for use with Game Room I would buy every damn gamn on there.
