Anyone read/used to read TMNT comics? Honestly I think the book has been going to hell since volume IV began. Peter Laird either needs to give it up or patch things up with Kevin Eastman. You can read the first issue here: www.ninjaturtles.com/comics/mirage/one/pg01.htm

I used to read it, after I got hooked on the cartoon. It was really gritty from what I recall, which surprised me.

I LOVE that the TMNT cover was CLEARLY a homage/parody to the Ronin series. Wasn't that Mirage comics was originally? Parody comics of other comics? Because TMNT pretty much rip off everything from Daredevil.

Yeah, TMNT was, from the ground up, a parody of Daredevil and other comics.

I'd like to try and find some of the comics from 1996 or so. Raph became the new Shredder, Leo lost a hand, and Don for some reason became a cyborg. It's not in regular continuity, but I'd kinda want to read them.
