I have created this thread in the effort of us, the members of Video Armageddon, to be in Florida on April 30, 2042, to celebrate the opening of the Nickelodeon time capsule which was buried on April 30, 1992. The time capsule contains items of which were important to the children of 1992 including a Nintendo Game Boy and a Home Alone VHS cassette. Please let us know if you cannot plan arrangements in advance. Bring a firearm of your choosing.

The new plate is bullshit. They should be forced to inform the people that it was buried in 1992, dug up in '06 and then reburied

They probably let Herb Scannell fuck the corpse of my childhood one last time.

And they dug it up for the most bullshit reason ever, the Blue Man group. I'll gladly attend on the condition Harvey from Double Dare, or his cryogenically frozen body attend.

How awesome would it be if they were like "And there are 10 attendees for the opening of the Nickelodeon time capsule...and they are all from the same internet message board..."

It's going to really be difficult explaining to the grandkids why we're going to Florida.
"So that channel that airs nothing but George Lopez shows at night and cartoons about sponges during the day buried some ancient shit and we're going down to Florida, NOT to visit Disneyworld, so you can see them unearth an old magazine and a movie from 40 years ago?

I doubt Nickelodeon will still even be around in 30 years. I guarantee you they'll move the time capsule again three or four more times and at some point it will probably end up in the garbage. I doubt if the stuff is even actually in there anymore. It wouldn't surprise me if we opened it up in 2042 only to find Spongebob and iCarly shit in there.
