So I finally sat down and gave the MSX version of Metal Gear a real try, and I really dig it. I didn't like having to spend 2 hours punching at random walls looking for the bomb suit, but other than that I've really enjoyed it so far. I used to own the NES version until the bunghole that I lent it to never gave it back. The MSX one is much better anyhow. Anyone else enjoy this gem? I need to find more MSX games.

If it weren't for Subsistence, I would have only have had experience with the NES version. The MSX version is FAR superior.

I loved the decoy doctor that made the ground disappear. Clever, especially for that time period. I saw it coming since I watched the wonderful Skip Rogers video (as reviewed under my Nerd parody).
Right now I'm totally stuck. I've punched the wall and went through hell to get past the appearing holes, rescued Drago's daughter, rescued Drago himself, and now I'm trying to find some guy with Card 7. Speaking of the cards, they really should have done what they did in MGS, and that is make the high level cards unlock all the low level ones. Instead I'm fumbling around in my god damn jeans trying to find the right card to use while I'm inhaling toxic gas!
Is my radio not supposed to contact Big Boss or Diane? I know Big Boss is setting me up and all, but none of these guys are answering the radio.
