Sooo... who else is picking this up? I'm curious since Ubisoft is developing the game, although they could've picked a better developer, it has to be better than the crap Konami was putting out. gonintendo.com/?p=11977

So, should I blow $50 on this or not? If I preorder, it comes with the first issue of the comic.

Yeah, I've decided to hold off and maybe rent it. It doesn't look $50 good.

Well, to my surprise, the game itself is actually pretty decent. It's so much fun to make the turtles jump around, and it almost harkens back to the first NES game, in the way that it's more of a platformer than a beat-em up. It's a lot like Prince of Persia with Ninja Turtles, and I see a lot of potential for a sequel.
However, after 30 minutes of playing, my fucking wrists hurt. Both of them. This is exactly what I was afraid was going to happen with Wii games. Waggle waggle waggle waggle waggle waggle waggle waggle waggle waggle waggle waggle waggle waggle waggle. Why couldn't they just map attacks to the buttons instead of making you shake the goddamn controllers?
I like the concept of motion sensor controllers, but I feel Wii Sports is the only game so far to make it work... and even it fails in some instances. I didn't feel the motion sensing in Twilight Princess felt natural... at all. In fact, it's keeping me away from finishing the game. I'm not an overweight, lazy ass slob, but aimlessly shaking the controller to pull off random attacks isn't my idea of fun. And I love the idea of a dual hand controller. It just makes so much more sense than holding onto a candy bar or a hunk of bread.
But anyway, I do plan on purchasing this when it hits the bargain bin, but I'll probably be getting the Xbox 360 version.

I like this game. It's pretty fun. It's not an experience to be reckoned with, but it's just fun.

I'm glad they didn't turn it into a sandbox game. This is how movie games should be. There isn't much depth in the game, but it's simple and fun.
The GBA version is supposed to be a lot like River City Ransom, so I'm definitely checking that out when I can.
