I bought River City Ransom and Double Dragon last night. It's been so long since I've played the NES version of RCR. Best game ever.

Yup, it's only a couple weeks old. Personally, the XBLA version is better. Especially if you turn the graphical update off

I wonder what priceless treasures Nintendo has in store for us today. Othello? Home Alone 2 perhaps?

Where is Super Mario Kart? It's like Nintendo is afraid of it or something.

Nintendo is saving them for when they have to resort to desperate measures. Probably for when their Luigi/Bubsy crossover platformer fails. I like PPL

You know City Connection would make an awesome movie. It could be the sequel to The Wizard. Jimmy Woods (Luke Edwards) is all grown up. Having finally accepted that he's long past his prime after beating Lucas Barton (Jackey Vinson) at the 1989 Video Armageddon, Jimmy sets out to find a new challenge: to paint every single road in the entire world with his 1982 Honda City Turbo hatchback. Co-starring Fred Savage and Jenna von Oÿ.

I'd like to think if there were a reissue, remake, or sequel to The Wizard, we could do some sort of swindling to become a business partner

So apparently the reason we haven't got Earthbound yet is because NOA wants two songs changed, but NCL doesn't think it would be cost effective. I believe a couple of Beatles songs are actually sampled in the game.

That's awesome. We'll probably never see Earthbound again though because of this.

DIG DUG™ (NES®, 1 player, Rated E for Everyone, 600 Wii Points): Become Dig Dug, the champion of love and justice, as you drill up, down, left and right, defeating any enemies in your path. Avoid the persistent Pooka and the deep-dwelling but whimsical Fygar as you defeat all the enemies in order to clear each stage. Defeat enemies by hitting them with the harpoon and pumping air into them, or by dropping rocks on them from above. Receive bonus points by getting the vegetables that appear in the middle of the stage. Receive high points for defeating deep-dwelling enemies or by defeating Fygars from the side with the harpoon. Pass through inflated enemies or defeat enemies in an adjacent passage for an even higher score. Lure multiple enemies and defeat them with a single rock from above in this thrilling action game.
BIO MIRACLE BOKUTTE UPA (NES®, 1 player, Rated E for Everyone—Comic Mischief, 600 Wii Points): BIO MIRACLE BOKUTTE UPA is an action game released in 1988, but it was never available outside of Japan. Players take on the role of baby Upa, a prince of the Akuyo kingdom. Prince Upa must take on an adventure spanning seven different worlds in order to rescue the kingdom from the dangerous demon Zai. Upa must defeat the enemies he meets along the way by inflating them. Upa can then use these floating enemies to his advantage by bouncing off of or riding on top of them. The prince must also avoid deadly thorns and pits while keeping an eye out for helpful items such as milk (to restore health) and bells (for temporary invincibility) if he hopes to succeed. If you’re looking for a cute and solid platformer with a hero unlike those in most other games, then look no further than BIO MIRACLE BOKUTTE UPA.
Alright, I'm fine with the "never before released out side of Japan" game being 600 points....BUT FUCKING DIG DUG?! You shouldn't even have to spend 5 bucks on Dig Dug these days since my calculator plays Dig Dug, but an extra dollar more than Super Mario Bros. 3? Are you high?!

I bought Toejam and Earl. Not as good as I remembered, but the music kicks ass. I think I hear Nine Inch Nails' Kinda I Want To sampled in the background music.

They're probably gonna repackage the Mega Man Anniversary collection, even thought releasing I-VII would actually make them more money.
I bet we never see Super Mario RPG on Virtual Console so they can repackage it as a DS game, like Final Fantasy IV and Chrono Trigger.

Post your top ten most wanted VC games NOW!
1. Earthbound 2. Super Mario RPG 3. Majora's Mask 4. Super Mario All-Stars 5. Super Mario Kart 6. Mega Man 2 7. Turtles in Time 8. Zombies Ate My Neighbors 9. Mega Man 1 10. Kung-Fu
Also, a Game Boy section would be nice. But it's not going to happen because our money is no good to Nintendo.

I just want the RPGs really, Secret of Mana especially. Earthbound, Super Mario RPG, and a couple other "off the map" RPG titles from the era.

I have the PS2 version, because it's cheaper and you said the controls blew on the GCN version.
