I buy most of the Hulk comics Cable/Deadpool, GI Joe: America's Elite, and Marvel Zombies. The rest I DL, because as much as I love comics, I hate paying 3 bucks a piece for them, because they don't want to use newsprint paper anymore.

Well . . . my Spider-Man Collector's Edition DVD came with Amazing Fantasy #15. I also have a little booklet from my special edition of Batman Begins that contains the debut of the "Bat-Man," "The Man Who Falls," and a piece from "The Long Halloween."

It's funny....I read so many comics, I find it hard to talk about comics sometimes. At least starting the conversation. I need to pick mine up for the month though.
Y was awesome though. wE CAN TALK ABOUT IT TOGETHER jj

Can anyone recommend me some things to get? After reading Black Summer and still reading Watchmen I feel that I want to get more back into comics. I've heard many good things about Batman Year One which I will probably pick up as soon as I see it but are there any other things that are a must read and such?

Y: The Last Man and the Sandman series are must reads for comic lovers. They aren't part of the mainstream really, but anyone who has a casual fascination with comics is familiar with those two series.

I really want to get into Y: The Last Man, I read a few pages over on amazon ([:[) and it seemed pretty great so hopefully I can find some of the book over the weekend and if I see Sandman I may have to pick it up after reading up on it.
Also finished Watchmen, holy fuck was that good, I couldn't stop reading it for the past two days getting in at least a 2 or 3 chapters a day now I understand why everyone that talks about the book raves about it.

After a month or so shy from a year I've finally finished Y: The Last Man, it was pretty amazing, the end part of the book did get kinda sad seeing what happened to these people but I loved the way it did end though and I don't think it could have been better.

I finished that not too long ago as well and I thought it was pretty great. I really enjoyed the last issue and thought that they did an admirable job wrapping everything up.
If you haven't checked it out I'd suggest checking out The Walking Dead. It's an ongoing comic and I really love it. It really reminds me of Y: The Last Man for some reason possibly because it's kind of an end of the world story focusing on one man, at least initially. Great book.

I love The Walking Dead, Robert Kirkman is almost like my god I mean if I had to pick only 2 comics to read forever it would be The Walking Dead and Invincible.

I was doing pretty good keeping up to date on comic books, but like always, I just stopped caring about them. I really should just establish a pull box or something.

I'm STILL buying Tales of the TMNT and Sonic for whatever goddamn reason. Can't really keep up with the "real" comics like X-Men and stuff anymore.
