I'll probably get it, although based on past experience with Nintendo handhelds, I'll probably wait until they release the 2nd model with added bells and whistles, or atleast until a price drop.
Also JJ, I'm after my 7th badge at the moment.

I have all 8 badges and just caught Lugia.
I have no choice but to buy it. I own a classic Gameboy, a Gameboy Pocket, a Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance, an SP, a Micro, a DS lite, and a DSi and have owned an original DS. The only thing I'm missing is the never released in the US Gameboy Pocket Lite.

So. I bought Wario Ware D.I.Y. this weekend. Let me get this out of the way first, since Nick already knows where this is going. This game is great. The best in the franchise next to Twisted.
However they have given me the opportunity to make my own games. From a clean slate. Or edit existing games. This is a bad idea. You give a man a pen, and he draws phallic things. So naturally, Wario is jumping over boners, you're playing Whack-A-Boner, fencing with boners, racing boners. Picking noses with boners. It's just....I'm a horribly broken and terrible person.

I did the same thing with Drawn to Life: the Spongebob Squarepants Edition.

The lack of talk about Golden Sun 3 is abysmal. or the golden sun series in general, WHERE'S THE LOVE?!

It's hard to talk about something we know nothing about. And I'm sure we are the only two here who have played it.

I love Golden Sun. I bought the original when it came out way back when. And actually I prefer it to the Final Fantasy series.

Are there any Game Boy games on DSiWare yet? Looks like there's just a bunch of shovelware crap on there so far.

A rule of thumb apparently for DSiWare is no straight ports, or so it's been claimed after whats-his-nose tried to get Intellivision games on the DSi. It has Earthworm Jim Remake and a bunch of really cool unique things. But it's 80% bullshit.

That's terrible business. I would go out and buy a DSi right the hell now if I could play Super Mario Land on it.

There are a lot of varying theories as to why it's the case. Games don't emulate well on the hardware, there tend to be a lot of graphical or sound anomalies. The games weren't designed to be played on the types of screens that the DS has. From what I've heard, there's a good chance of a VC coming to the 3DS, since the hardware is so drastically different.

I hope so. My Donkey Kong '94 battery is dead and I'm too lazy to replace it.

Neo-Geo and TurboGrafx games are seemingly coming to the PSP. I took this picture after I upgraded my PSP firmware:

I know you don't need me to tell you all this, but Dragon Quest IX came out today and if you don't buy it, you hate video games.

Jesus. I want a 3DS NOW. I've not been this excited for a handheld since the original Game Boy Advance.

Cing, creators of Hotel Dusk, may be out of business before Last Window hits the States.

That's pretty much what happened to Ensemble. They said they were going out of business MONTHS before Halo Wars came out. They were able to get it out the door, but shut down right after launch.

I better friggin' have it in my hands someday, otherwise we'll have to pool our money together (not the silly multicolored Canadian kind) and acquire the license for it to be released stateside!

It'll come out in Europe, even if it doesn't come stateside, that'll be easy enough to buy on the interwebs.

Here is a quick video for you. It's a DSiWare game called Photo Dojo. I think the footage speaks for itself.

The DS version blows. I really enjoyed what I played of the Wii game. It was only three stages, but they were fun and more Mario-esque than Sonic-esque.
