Will do. After reading about Alex's problems with the wi-fi connector, I think I'll probably just go for the router.

Alex is just a wuss, I had to disable my firewall to use the Wi-Fi connector. But the advantage with just buying a router is that it's a more powerful signal, and it'll work with any other gaming consoles you may ever get, if you get any. And it's only ten bucks more anyways.

Well, I think I can get it to work, since my firewall lets me choose what gets outbound access.

Man, if you were just a week early, I could have given you a Wi-Fi connector for free, I just gave one to my dads best friends kid.

I'm going to get the Wi-Fi, in the event the clouds part, and I land a Wii at some point.

And then you'll get Animal Crossing so I can visit your town and steal all of your fruit and chop down all of your trees right?

I actually never bought any of the Animal Crossing games. I always figure that if I was going to get a game like that, I'd just get Harvest moon.

I just started playing Mario Kart DS online again. It's a lot different now - most people I play against have hardly any wins or losses.

I really do need to spend more time with Mario Kart. I never got around to unlocking ROB.

I've heard of people cheating online. How the fuck do they do that?

I've only come across people that race real cheap. Like powersliding all the way through the race with a technique dubbed "snaking".
Also, you can distract people with the emblem maker by creating a penis.

Holy shit, I have to unlock ROB. I already have Drybones, Warluigi, and Daisy.

I've heard of people cheating online. How the fuck do they do that? Most people who lag or "snake" are dubbed cheaters by the Mario Kart DS community. I find that most cases of "cheating" are just people who have a bad connection, so it looks like they're teleporting all over the track. I believe there have been cases of actual cheaters online, and while I'm not fully certain how they accomplish this, I have a hunch they're dumping the actual game on another game cart and tooling it from there. There have been positive hacks for this game online, such as people playing non-online tracks (Tick Tock Clock is a popular one). Most of the non-online tracks aren't online for a good reason - they're buggy and slow. I haven't come across any of these kind of hackers, unfortunately. It would be fun.

In that case the CPU kind of "cheats" too. I'll have no one near me on the map, and suddenly Bowser, with no powerups mind you, is driving right up my ass.

Yeah, cheap CPUs were a huge problem with Mario Kart 64.

I noticed Yoshi is still the best racer to go with. Or atleast he is in my case.

I don't know what it is, but I love being Wario. Actually, in DS, my favorite racer is Dry Bones in the Super Mario Bros. 3 themed tank.

Toad's always been my mofucker. But in Mario Kart DS, I always pick ROB. I will fuck you up with ROB. He'd better be in every fucking Mario Kart game from now on.

I only see the older games like "Mary Kate and Ashley-Crush Course" at the Walmart no one goes to. Just think, if the DS had come out 20 years ago, we'd be getting games like "The Go Go's Coked Up Roadie Sex Adventure."
