Jesus, I never realized it, but Sonic 3 is pretty hard.

Have you got to the Carnival Night zone yet?

Yep. Love the music on it too. But it took me awhile to figure out how to make those platforms go up and down. "Oh, so you have to jump. Son of a bitch."

Ah, yes. Those platforms just about drove me to suicide.

Well, the person that owned it before me had beaten it, so there are a couple saves on there, but I feel obligated to play it straight through myself.

You know, I miss renting/buying used games, that had the previous renter's/owner's save on it. Some people did some pretty wacky ass shit on some of those games. I rented Wrestlemania 2000 for the N64, and like 95% of the roster had been edited beyond repair. There were transexual CAWs and like 9 different Prince Albert variations.

The first time I rented No Mercy, someone had created Kid Rock and his whole band. Needless to say, I erased them.

Even if they don't work, it'd be cool just have them to display.

The good news is that Genesis/Mega Drive games are still relatively easy to come by.

I've always had a bit of a hard time coming across Sega games around here. It's like the only used games you can get anymore are Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt carts and PlayStation 2 games made like three years ago, in pawnshops anyway.

Gamecrazy seems to be the best bet, provided you have on near you. Although last time I was there, all they had was 5 copies of Jungle Strike.

GameCrazy sucks. All they have is like 700 used copies of Midnight Club and Need for Speed Underground.

You know, seeing Sonic on that box kinda makes me sad. I miss the days of mascots, and systems coming with two controllers and a game. And remember how bad ass Sega was back then? Just look at that Mega Drive box.

This week I bought
Sonic 1 Sonic 2 Super Wrestlemania Mortal Kombat 3
and two other games that arent worth mentioning, one being a football game, and the other being a fighting game that doesnt do anything when I press start to start the game.

That makes you realize how awesome the Genesis boxes were. You didn't have any cardboard to throw away, and you could store the game in the case itself.
