Any idea why Turtles in Time became Hyperstone Test when it hit the Genesis? It never made sense to me.

And I managed to get the name wrong, despite the fact it's sitting in my fucking Genesis.

They need to rerelease all of the old TMNT games on a compilation disc. I've never been able to find TMNT3 on NES, or any of the Game Boy titles.

I see the GB titles all the time, but I too have yet to see TMNT III in a shop myself.

I bought another copy of Sonic 3 at Game Crazy yesterday. 8 friggin' bucks. The other Sonic games were almost 6 bucks cheaper.

Well it's large enough you could probably cook on it, so why not? Plus if you live in a shitty house like me, where all the outlet faceplates are loose, good luck keep that fucker in the wall.

Anyone remember if Sega ever made stereo jacks for the Genesis II?

I don't recall, I think they did exist though.

I have the Genesis II. I've always had to have it hooked up with an RF adapter, I don't think I've ever had AV cables for the thing.

Basically I want one to see if the picture is any better. Though I will say the Genesis RF Adaptor has held up better than the ones I bought for the NES and N64.

So, I don't know if this applies to every Game Crazy store, but today the one here had a 3 for 10 dollars classic game bin. What'd I buy? Talespin, and Jungle Book for the Genesis.

Man, the good old days, where you could use a generic premise for a licensed game and have it be totally fucking awesome.

Yeah, I actually like both games. Hell, most of the Genesis Disney games were well made.

I recently bought Sonic 3 for 8 bucks. It was too expensive when it first came out, and when I did have the money, I sort of forgot about it. I'd actually been looking for it for a better part of year now.

Sonic 3 is probably the best in the entire series, even though I hold a special place in my heart for Sonic 2. You have Sonic & Knuckles?

Yes. That's the weird thing, I actually got Sonic & Knuckles for my birthday right after it came out, so I've had it for years, but not Sonic 3. It's funny, the guy at Game Crazy offered to sell me both games for 10 dollars, since the only Sonic 3 cartridge they had, was actually locked on to a Sonic & Knuckles cartridge.

The release of Sonic & Knuckles was a fucking event. I remember being so damn excited, and counting down the days until it was released. HOLY FUCKS YOU CAN PLAY AS KNUCKLES It's funny, too, because most people had no idea it was Sonic 3 part 2. Sega ripped us off.

Yeah, I still have a bunch of comic books with Sonic & Knuckles ads. I'll dig one out and scan it after awhile. But you're right, Sonic & Knuckles was short, as opposed to Sonic 3 which takes several hours to beat. Sega knew they'd squeeze some poor kids for the 100 + bucks.
